I feel that companies are benefiting from low paid incomes knowing that people will owe them for the rest of their lives. I feel when companies advertise, they try to get people attention by saying things that are not true. It feels to me like it’s a setup, like they are tricking people knowing that it is wrong. When companies comes up with the plans to get low income people into debt and other problems it hurts the opportunity divide because people can seem to get themselves out of the situations that are going on. I feel that the government is to be blamed because they are letting the companies get away with this. It’s like the government should be punishing them for what they are doing but at the end of the day the money seems to be getting back to the government. I feel once a person is so called listed “in poverty” I feel that the companies shouldn’t be allowed to be tricked into the little games that they advertise. When it comes to the poverty rate I feel that the government should step in to help people. The opportunity divide is causing major damage to the people listed in poverty. In society it’s having jobs that people can get because of the skills they need but they can get them. I feel that government should have some type of assistance to people that’s in need, it shouldn’t matter what the situation is, they should help them.
